Israel has announced it will offer $15.6 million to 15 Israeli technology companies to help them expand their businesses.
Israel has announced the new technology scholarship to companies with high potential to create jobs and strengthen Israel’s information technology sector.
The initiative aims to promote Israel’s technology sector and strengthen the competitiveness of Israel’s economy by supporting young and dynamic companies in the IT industry.
It also aims to strengthen the country’s competitiveness in the global information technology market.
The scholarship will provide technical assistance to companies, and also a research fund to promote and further the growth of Israeli tech industry.
Israeli Minister of Technology, Industries and Trade Yair Lapid, Minister of Economy and Energy David Malka and the chairman of the Knesset committee on Israel’s Information Technology Industry, Oren Etzion, have said the funds will be awarded by the government.
Israel’s Information and Communications Technology Industry employs approximately 5,000 people, and it is considered one of the world’s leading technological sectors.
